Light design for the object and puppet performance Země by Tabula Rasa

A visual and symbolic journey toward notions of what lies beneath the surface—in the dust, stone, and memory of the landscape. The production draws inspiration from the mythologies of the Indigenous peoples of the American Southwest, without appropriating these traditions. Fascination with their worldview, the connection between humans and the earth, and the spiritual order becomes the starting point for our own artistic exploration of the balance between the visible and the invisible.
